I purchased a pair of jeans in the Quakerbridge Mall store in NJ on 2/28 where I had stopped on my way home from work. Once I pulled the jeans out of the bag, I noticed that the security tag had not been removed.
At this point we are in the middle of the coronavirus situation and malls in NJ are closed-we were in a quarantine. So today, I traveled to the Cherry Hill Mall, which is closer to where I live, to have the tag removed. Once I got to the store, I realized that I had left my wallet in my car. The manager reported that it was policy that she had to view the receipt in order to remove the security tag.
I became a little annoyed since this has now become an inconvenience. The manager has assured me that I will not have to wait in line to get inside the store. I return to the store with my receipt and approach the manager who is standing close to the cashier area. She tells me to just get into any line and I would be taken care of.
As I walked to the line, I became annoyed because she said that she would take care of my situation and now she wants me to stand in line for something that takes 5 seconds at the most. In addition to that she was just standing in the store-she wasn't doing anything else. She suddenly remembers why I was there, and decided to remove the tag. As she began to fold my jeans to put them back into the bag, I let her know that I was not happy with services there today.
Our malls in NJ just opened on Monday, so I could not bring the jeans back any sooner, so looking at a receipt is pointless when the malls have been closed since March. In addition to that, I just had the receipt in my hand and after having me walk back to my car for the receipt, she never even looked at it. If store policy was for her to see the receipt why didn't she look at the receipt. Store #1 Quakerbridge Mall failed to remove the security tag and Store #2, at the Cherry Hill Mall had a not so helpful manager.
It was an inconvenience for me to have to even take the jeans back to the store using my gas and my time. What's even more of a disgrace is the lack of support that the customer service and the customer relations phone numbers offer. Throughout my day, I have made attempts to speak with someone in customer relations, and I have been transferred around and disconnected several times.
I even tried an online chat and was disconnected from that. I have never seen customer service so inept.
Preferred solution: My time is valuable and I should be compensated for the lack of customer service.

I and three of my friends were shopping at American Eagle, we were all wearing masks and I was standing in a corner alone on my Cell Phone responding to my moms call when Joy Begallia approaches me and tells me to put my mask over my nose and I turned around and asked her if she was just going to stand there and hold my hand while I do it and she said it's the law and I told her that she also needed to put her mask over her nose as well and then she said then leave because we can't accommodate you and she kicked me out. I put the mask over my nose I said some choice words to her and left the store and when my friends (had nothing to do with it was denied service as well) she told her subordinate not to serve them and kicked them out as well.
I was wearing a cultural mask (I'm black) and my friends are also minorities. The way the world is now people should try to be more understanding and respectful. I was approached by her Co-workers and they apologized to me for her actions as well as to the other shoppers that witnessed our interaction. I don't expect to be treated any differently than any other person who is spending money in that store.
I hope you take this complaint seriously because you've lost customers due to her lack of professionalism. Thank you!

Masks
I no more walked into your store today, at St. Louis Premium Outlets Suite # 829, where the girl at the door told me to pull my mask over my nose, I pulled it up but as I was talking to my son, it fell down again, not even giving me a chance to react another employee approached me and told me to pull it up again thats when I got very upset.
I get its your policy, I also read the sign going in about it being on the nose and mouth but reacting before I even got 10 feet in the door after I did what I was told not my fault it fell down, its the way this mask is made.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK INTO YOUR STORES AGAIN!!! Again I get its your policy but the employee kept stalking me as I was making sure my hand was on it the entire so it wouldnt fall down again so I left, AND WONT BE BACK!!
